Protein Pancakes (non dairy)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup oats (dry)
  • 1/2 cup hot water (to cook oats)
  • 1 scoop protein powder of choice
  • 1/4 cup egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (for flavor)
  • Optional: almond extract for flavor

Method:

  1. Mix oats with hot water. Stir and let stand for a few minutes until fluffy
  2. Mix protein powder and egg whites
  3. Combine protein and egg with the oats
  4. Stir through cinnamon and mix til blended
  5. Cook time: 5-10 minutes
  6. Top with garnish of your choice (PB, fruit, honey, etc)

Serves 4 pancakes.
